Jenks Saturday Market

“South Tulsa’s Premier Market Experience”

Every Saturday, 9am-1pm thru October

The Pet Friendly place to be!

After decades of operation under the “Jenks Farmer’s Market” name, the local Jenks tradition is getting an upgrade.  With all the out-of-the-ground and off-the-vine edibles that you expect at an Oklahoma Grown market, the Jenks Saturday Market plays on that same concept, but with a twist.  In addition to the usual fare, customers will shop the best in local artistry and crafts, bath products, baked goods, fresh flowers, and more.  All area businesses are encouraged to pop a tent and promote what they do.  Participants range from school clubs to food trucks; from shaved ice to plants and herbs.  The market will take its new place in front of GreenAcres Market at 7th and Main in Jenks, just 1 block west of the 96th Street bridge across from the lighthouse.

Attractions for the kids at the new market include face painting, a bouncy house, balloon animals, and even Go-Carts.  Enjoy live music with Jenks musician Aaron Morgan, lunch from one of the specialty food trucks, and do some shopping for the whole family.

Available Quotes:

“Markets are about meeting your customer and sharing your passion.  You’re looking to build that relationship around the thing you love most to do, and create lifelong friendships out of it, not to mention lifelong customers,” says Angie Ramsey, Store Manager at GreenAcres Market, who will be hosting the space for the new Jenks Saturday Market.

“This is a real, European-style market available to all types of vendors.  The market is adding space and making room for local businesses and organizations to tout their stuff and services. If you make, sell it, or do it, we’ll find a place to showcase it,” says Dan Cameron, Jenks Saturday Market Manager.

“It’s a great concept.  It builds a dynamic outlet for economic development in Jenks and south Tulsa,” says Josh Driskell, president of the Jenks Chamber of Commerce.  “Now is a great time to bring back and revamp the Farmer’s Market concept. These are the sorts of options and activities residents of Jenks and South Tulsa are looking for.”
