Have you ever wondered why your dog goes ballistic when he sees another dog? Have you thought your dog is blowing you off when she’s chasing something? Have you witnessed your dog react crazily to some everyday event for no apparent reason? You are not alone! Jeanette Bider, OKPAWS lead trainer, will shed some light on these mysteries of canine behavior in a public lecture titled “Is my dog crazy? Demystifying reactivity”. This is a lecture for humans, so please leave your canine companions at home. The lecture starts at 7 pm, and it will be followed by the monthly OKPAWS meeting (visitors welcome). This is a free lecture, but a $5 donation per family, will help defray the cost of the building rental. A limited number of chairs are available (the matted floor is pretty comfortable, too), so bringing portable chairs are recommended.
